This is a wonderful time of the year to be outdoors and it is also the time when the many hundreds of Jacarandas in the Hunters Hill and Woolwich area are in full bloom.

Take advantage of this wonderful spectacle and walk in a blue haze by going on a Jacaranda Walk with Ellen.

The walks will not only have the greatest collection of Jacarandas in full bloom in Sydney hanging over old sandstone buildings and walls, but also information on Jacarandas, the history and stories of the area, comments on the architecture and old photos from the past. And as a backdrop to all this will be glorious harbour views.

The tours will start from The Old School House, 62 Woolwich Rd, Woolwich where walkers can have a cuppa and a bickie and then set out for an informative and entertaining, as well as uplifting (thanks to the blue blooms everywhere) 90 minute easy pace walk.

The cost of all this is $20.00pp.
